MEV Units

A central MEV (Mechanical Extract Ventilation) unit extracts continuously from every wet room in the house through one quiet fan, usually in the attic, so there is no separate extractor fan in each bathroom, toilet, kitchen and utility room. Fresh air comes in through wall or window inlets in the living rooms and bedrooms. It suits houses with condensation or mould in more than one room, and homes where ducting to a central point is possible. If heat recovery matters, look at MVHR instead; if ducting is not possible, a decentralised MEV fan in each room does the same job room by room.

We supply four units: the Vent Solve MEV Silent (515 m³/h, controller included), the Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon Multivent MVDC-MS (425 m³/h), the DucoBox Silent Connect (400 m³/h, demand controlled) and the OZEO E ECOWATT 2 (330 m³/h, humidity sensor version). All four have humidity sensing built in and connect to 125 mm ducting.
